Drone Inspections

Aerial Building Assessments for Safer, Smarter Property Management

Climbing scaffolding or using lifts for basic inspections is not only costly — it’s risky and often limited in what it reveals. At EIRS, our FAA-certified drone operators perform high-resolution aerial inspections that allow property managers, engineers, and HOAs to see the complete picture of their building’s condition — safely and efficiently.

From roof assessments and façade scans to pre- and post-storm documentation, drone inspections deliver visual clarity that traditional methods can’t match.

What Are Drone Inspections?

Drone inspections use professional-grade aerial imaging to photograph, record, and scan key structural surfaces from above or at elevation. Our technology enables us to capture high-resolution images of roofs, balconies, upper-floor walkways, drainage systems, parapets, and vertical walls — all without physically accessing dangerous or sensitive areas.

This allows for faster evaluations, reduced liability, and far better documentation of the property’s current state.

What We Assess

  • Low-slope and flat roof conditions
  • Roofing material wear, ponding, or slope failure
  • Gutter and downspout drainage paths
  • Façade cracking, staining, or deterioration
  • Balcony surfaces and railing conditions
  • Window, door, and sealant alignment
  • Water intrusion pathways along upper floors
  • Before/after comparisons for restoration or storm events

Services We Provide

Flight Planning
We define key inspection zones and establish flight paths around the building’s perimeter and elevation points.

On-Site Imaging
Our licensed drone operator captures images and video using high-resolution camera systems.

Data Review
Images are reviewed and flagged for areas of concern, including evidence of water damage, spalling, sagging, or pooling.

Report Delivery
We compile findings in a visual summary or provide raw footage and imagery to engineers, contractors, or insurance adjusters as needed.

Benefits of Drone Based Inspections

  • Safer than manual roof access or scaffolding
  • Faster setup and less disruption to residents
  • Captures hard-to-reach areas (e.g., behind parapets, upper façades)
  • Improves long-term maintenance planning
  • Provides detailed visuals for insurance or restoration documentation

Pre-Storm Assurance Program

EIRS offers a Pre-Storm Assurance Program that includes professional drone documentation of your property before storm season begins. This aerial footage and imagery can be used to verify existing conditions for insurance purposes and expedite post-storm claims or repairs.
